Portfolio - brand program
busy bee market
Busy Bee Market is a seasonal lakeside grocery & cafe on Cayuga Lake, where visitors can grab a bite or enjoy the view. Busy Bee was looking to create a visual look for their new brand. It was important to be fun and personable, but still connect to the nostalgia and history of the "Busy Bee", the 1800s ferry which use to travel from their location across Cayuga Lake. The result was a nautical inspired logo that remained fresh with a playful use of color. The branding throughout the space and the incorporation of handwritten fonts continued the personal feel and relaxed atmosphere.
Busy Bee Market has been a continual project that’s included identity, collateral, website, signage, event promotion, and everything in between.
As a new home inspection company in Central Florida, D'Angelo Inspections needed a brand identity that would stand out in a saturated marketplace. Utilizing a simple color palette of white, charcoal and yellow, D'Angelo Inspections logo represents a contemporary and refreshing presence for potential home buyers and sellers. The logo was also applied to business cards, company apparel, vehicle graphics and website.
