Mirror Show Management - WIB

For the Women in Business Annual Tradeshow, MSM wanted to implement pre-show marketing efforts to help drive more traffic to their inline booth. Utilizing the ‘coffee shop’ style branding that was being used for the show; I designed a series of e-mail blasts that were sent to targeted attendees. The e-mails pushed recipients to a dedicated WIB landing page, which allowed them to sign up to receive a free Starbucks gift card when they arrived at the booth. The campaign was a success, resulting in multiple leads that were gathered at the show.

Portfolio Website (2012)

The idea for my last portfolio site was to emphasize the featured work, rather than the website itself. The site’s dark palette allowed the portfolio images to become the focus, and brief descriptions of each project give viewers an insight beyond the aesthetics. In addition, I utilized jQuery to provide seamless image transitions within projects.

Kurt Brownell Photography

Kurt Brownell, a Rochester-based photographer, needed an updated online portfolio. The new design uses a warm dark palette, allowing the photography to be the primary focus. It contains features like a collapsible thumbnail toolbar and image case study windows. As part of the project, I helped create the user interface and initial site architecture.

Bob Wright Creative

While an employee at Bob Wright Creative, the Company needed an updated presence online. As a team, we designed a portfolio that had a unique format and introduce their new identity. After the designing process, I executed the programming for the site. The Featured Work section utilizes jQuery and highlights a storybook style portfolio, while the Past Projects section takes a more traditional approach for case studies.

Portfolio Website (2007)

After graduating from college, I created a portfolio site reflecting my personality and showcased my college design work. The domain “Design. Sleep. Repeat.” presented a fun approach to my dedication for the job and my desire to enter the graphic design field.
